What is collected and how it is used
Credit Card Account information is collected and shared with our
merchant account processor
for the purpose of identifying and qualify you as the owner of the
credit card being used to conduct a purchase through our store.
Your credit card account numbers are stored in our accounting program, and
are used for purchase fulfillment purposes only. When your account
number is no longer required (Transaction is completed) all records
containing your unencrypted account number are destroyed (our accounting
software maintains an encrypted record of your credit card number with
only the last 4 numbers or your account number visible for payment
received records only. It is never viewable in complete form again). Your credit card number is NEVER viewed
by anyone not having a need to know (The person entering your order and
payment is the only person with a need to know.).
Upon initiating a purchase, Abilene Computer Service will also ask a user to enter certain personally identifying information such as Name, Address, City, State, Zip Code and Country, email address, and Phone Number. This information will be retained by us to maintain your account with us or to fulfill any purchase you make with us. Your email address is requested so that we may communicate details of your order with you. We do not provide personal information to our suppliers beyond that which is necessary for them to conduct their business with us or you, for instance we will provide your name and address, email, and phone number to the InterNic (Required by Federal Law) in order for you to register a new Domain Name.
We do not use your personal information to send you unsolicited email or telephone solicitations However, we may from time to time use your street address to send you regular US Postal Service (Snail) mail. We do not sell our customer data to anyone.
